In addition to an annual concert, the Santa Fe Harmonizers traditionally have done several “sing-outs” during the year. These involve quartets and/or VLQs (very large quartets, more than four singers but much less than the full chorus) performing a few songs. We’ve sung at nursing homes, senior living facilities, and shopping malls during the spring and winter holiday seasons. We’ve sung the national anthem (and sometimes one more patriotic song) before Santa Fe Fuego baseball games (see our Chorus Videos webpage) and at the opening ceremony of the Alzheimer’s Walk. We’ve also done singing Valentines as a fundraiser for our chapter, and in the past some Harmonizers helped out at community events.
